So, it's been 10½ years since I logged in to this blog. To be honest, I'd forgotten it existed.
So here's a brief précis of where those years went.
- 2015: I attended ASLOK XXX (not knowing it might have been my last ASLOK)
- 2016 - 2018 Work went nuts and became toxic until stress forced me to resign.
- 2017 - 2018 I got sucked into the worlds of 3D Printing; and non-ASL boardgames.
- 2019 Recuperation from severe stress related illness and depression
- 2020 I moved back to New Zealand just before Covid hit the big time.
- 2020 - 2022 were complete washes apart from getting an e-scooter and VASL
- 2023 started playing in the esoteric WARR tournaments and had a lot of fun.
- 2024 3-4 months sabbatical from all things gaming due to health but came back with a vengeance.
- 2025 so far the first three months have been hectic on many fronts but that will have to wait until I have the time and energy to explain what I've been up to this year, which I'm right in the middle of right now so might wait for the weekend to post.
